On March 22, 2010 an Atlanta Motorcycle Police Officer was injured when his motorcycle was rear-ended by a car. The officer fell to the ground and was injured as a result of the impact from the rear-end collision. The Atlanta motorcycle officer was sent to the hospital for observation of his injuries. The officer was later released from the Atlanta hospital and is recovering and doing fine. This accident occured in Midtown near the Midtown Atlanta MARTA station which is located on 10th street.
